Standard for ECG electrode testing

ANSI/AAMI EC12 is commonly used internationally: 2000(R2005) Disposable ECG electrodes, the Chinese pharmaceutical industry standard "disposable ECG electrodes YY/T 0196-2005", IEC is preparing to release a new ECG monitoring standard, which will focus on the relevant test requirements for ECG electrodes.

   It is widely used in electrosurgery with a variety of high-frequency electrotome host and radio frequency instrument, and forms a loop with the positive electrode of the high-frequency electrotome host. It is usually used as a negative electrode in electrosurgery, such as cutting and coagulation.

There are many kinds of electrode pads including massage electrodes, physiotherapy electrode, conductive electrode, self-adhesive electrode, adhesive electrode, non-woven electrode, silicon gel electrode, heating electrode, breast enhancement electrode, treatment electrode  etc .
